Mission: Hunt ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is a GPS-based multiplayer pursuit game. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from the authentication provider. If you play as a guest, no personal information is collected.
Profile Information: Display name, bio, and profile picture that you choose to provide.
Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates while you are actively playing a game. Location data is used exclusively for core gameplay (tracking players on the map during a match).
Device Tokens: Push notification tokens for delivering friend requests and game invites.
Game Data: Match history, scores, and gameplay statistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

Location Data: Used solely for real-time gameplay. We do not track your location outside of active game sessions. We do not sell, share, or use location data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond the core game functionality.
Account & Profile Data: Used to identify you to other players, manage friend connections, and display leaderboards.
Push Notifications: Used to deliver friend requests, game invites, and match updates.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Location data transmitted during gameplay is ephemeral and held only in memory for the duration of the match; it is not written to our database or retained after the game ends. Account and profile data are stored persistently so you can maintain your profile across sessions.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your data may only be shared in the following limited circumstances:

Other Players: Your display name, profile picture, and in-game location (during active matches only) are visible to other players in your game lobby.
Authentication Providers: Google and Apple handle their own authentication flows. We only receive the profile information you authorize.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Your Rights & Choices

You can update or delete your profile information at any time from the Profile tab.
You can revoke location permissions in your device settings. Note: the game requires location access to function during matches.
You can disable push notifications in your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Mission: Hunt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
